GIEVSS attends SITL alongside its members

The International Transport and Logistics Exhibition (SITL) will bring together decision-makers from March 31 to April 2 at Paris Nord Villepinte around the innovations and solutions shaping the sector.

For the first time, GIEVSS will be represented through a collective initiative led by eight of its members, with the creation of an electric mobility village. This space will highlight practical solutions developed by the ecosystem to support the electrification of heavy transport and logistics.

Fleet electrification is a strategic lever for reducing CO2 emissions in the sector while improving energy performance and operating costs for companies. Through this collective presence, GIEVSS aims to showcase the technological innovations and expertise of members committed to the transition.

Several member companies will be present in this dedicated space:

They will present solutions dedicated to charging infrastructure and associated services.

A speaking program at the heart of sector challenges

The presence of GIEVSS and its members at SITL will also be marked by several round tables and speaking sessions dedicated to the electrification of transport and logistics.

GIEVSS round table - April 1 from 11:00 to 12:00 (Main stage)

"Who will pay the green bill?"

On this occasion, GIEVSS will participate alongside sector experts to discuss the economic conditions required for the transition.

Alongside GIEVSS:

  • Guillaume Decorzent, Deputy Director of Market Services, DGE;
  • Tariel Chamerois, Chair of the Sustainable Development Commission, TLF;
  • Christian Rose, Transport and Logistics Director, CGF.

Kempower - March 31 from 14:00 to 14:40 (Conversations area 1)

How will the logistics depot become a strategic energy hub in the future?

With the progressive electrification of fleets, logistics depots are set to become major energy infrastructures. They will need to integrate charging solutions capable of supplying electric trucks at scale while meeting operational needs.

During this session, Kempower will share a vision for the logistics depots of tomorrow and the infrastructure needed to support transport decarbonization.

EDF - March 31 at 16:40 (Conversations area 2)

"Electrifying your heavy-duty fleet: from white paper to the field"

Through this conference, speakers will review lessons from a white paper dedicated to heavy-duty fleet electrification and share practical feedback from the field.

The speakers:

  • Nasreddine Boudjenane, Strategy and Strategic Partnerships Project Manager, EDF;
  • Jean-Francois Agenor, Corporate Sustainable Fleet Transition Director, Geodis;
  • Jerome Flassayer, Electromobility and Alternative Energies Director, Volvo Trucks;
  • Roman Potocki, Senior Energy and Mobility Manager, Wavestone.

EDF - April 2 at 12:00 (Main stage)

"Transport electrification: current status and future progress"
