Governance
GIEVSS is a professional institute governed by a Board of Directors and an Executive Committee.
The Board of Directors, representative of the diversity of the electric mobility ecosystem, sets the institute's policies and priorities in order to define its major strategic directions. The Executive Committee represents the voice of member organisations gathered in the General Assembly. It monitors the institute's day-to-day activities in support of operational management.
The GIEVSS leadership team is composed of a President, a Vice-President and an Executive Director. Together, they coordinate the institute's work with the Board of Directors, working groups and member organisations.
Who leads GIEVSS?
The President is elected by the Board of Directors and leads the institute's strategic representation. The role supports the development of safe, interoperable electric mobility by bringing together industry, public-sector, infrastructure, standards, training and safety stakeholders.

The institute's management
The operational team coordinates standards, safety, working groups, member services and public information. It supports the Board of Directors and ensures that the institute's work programmes are carried out.
The GIEVSS Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is composed of members elected by the Board of Directors. It follows the institute's ongoing activities, prepares strategic decisions and supports operational execution.
